2025 NL Pennant Favorites
Los Angeles Dodgers
The favorites to win the NL pennant in 2025 are the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers won the National League this past season, along with the World Series, which they won over the New York Yankees. Los Angeles is set to be loaded offensively again this coming season and they could be even more dangerous on the mound if Shohei Ohtani is able to pitch again.
Philadelphia Phillies
Last season, the Philadelphia Phillies had a disappointing postseason. But they are again expected to be one of the last teams standing in the National League in 2025. With plenty of offensive firepower and a starting rotation that exceeded expectations over the last year, it is very likely that we see Philadelphia make a run and contend with Los Angeles for the pennant.
Atlanta Braves
Another NL East team with a great chance to win the pennant is the Atlanta Braves. This past season did not go according to plan for the Braves, as they ended up as a Wild Card team in the National League. But with Ronald Acuna Jr. expected to be back on the field in 2025, the Braves could be a lot more dangerous than they were last season.
Other NL Pennant Contenders
With so much time for things to change in the National League, there are plenty of other teams with a legitimate chance to win the NL pennant. The New York Mets and San Diego Padres were in the thick of the hunt for the pennant in 2024 and will have a chance to do so again in 2025. Then you have a team like the Milwaukee Brewers, who have dominated the NL Central in recent years and will look to go deeper into the postseason this time around.
Early 2025 NL Pennant Prediction
We will take the Atlanta Braves to win the National League pennant in 2025 at this point in time. The Braves come at a better price than the Dodgers and Phillies and they have just as much talent when healthy as either of those teams. Look for Atlanta to be a much tougher out in 2025 than they were in 2024, barring any huge injury issues popping up.
